Description We are in search of a Purchasing Agent to join our team in the government sector, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role offers an extended contract employment opportunity where you will be instrumental in managing the buying processes and handling accounting functions. Your expertise in ERP solutions, Accounting Software Systems, and Epicor will be essential to meet the demands of this role.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the buying processes within the government sector. Efficiently handle accounting functions with the aid of Accounting Software Systems. Navigate and utilize Epicor software for various purchasing activities. Implement and manage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system to streamline processes. Utilize ERP Solutions to optimize the buying process and accounting functions. Ensure the efficient use of 'Great Plains (GPAC)' for accounting functions. Effectively use 'About Time' software for efficient time tracking and management. Manage and oversee Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. Participate in and contribute to budget processes to ensure financial efficiency. Handle and maintain customer credit records accurately.
