You may just be the right candidate for this role, or another role and make your mark at Mill Creek.Position SummaryThe Managing Director is responsible for development of new multi-family communities in an assigned geographical area. This position is also responsible for advising and assisting the Senior Managing Director with the pursuit of profitable and sound development opportunities.Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Identifies development opportunities then executes and manages the pre-development feasibility assessment, acquisition, design, development, assets, and disposition of the property.

Oversees the development and construction of a property, including negotiating land contracts, entitling sites, developing budgets, and developing construction schedules.

Ensures current cash flow and long-term market value of existing assets is maximized.

Maintains relationships with brokers, land sellers, homebuilders, and investors.

Interviews, hires, trains, and supervises Development Associates in assigned region.

Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.

Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Edu cation and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or other related field is preferred for this position.

Minimum of seven-to-ten years’ experience in real estate, development or finance
