We are an equal opportunity employer and are known for our core values ofRespect, Integrity, Compassion, Dedication, Teamwork, and Fun!The Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant welcomes all guests to the Food Bank facility, answers incoming phone calls to the branch, assists with emergency food walk-ins and initiates the intake process, directs visitors to appropriate staff and resources and assists with administrative tasks.This is a full time on-site position scheduled to work Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch break.Responsibilities:

Greet all visitors in-person and on the phone in a welcoming and professional manner and direct visitors and callers to the appropriate point-of-contact or provide requested information. Serve as point-of-contact for community members, donors and other guests for providing information and/or connecting them with the right departments. (35%)

- Provide emergency food and resources in a dignified and thorough manner for neighbors who are seeking food assistance and distribute the most updated branch emergency food resources list. Conduct proper intake and information process. (20%)```{=html}```

- Provides administrative support as needed to staff at the branch in an effort to reduce their administrative workload. This could include attending department meetings to take and share notes with team,assisting with partner agency files, planning and preparing for meetings, record-keeping, data entry, etc. Accept mail and deliveries and ensures all incoming parcels are distributed to the appropriate team member. Maintains office supply/copier room; request office supplies as needed. (25%).```{=html}```

- Support Branch operations - work closely with Operations Manager, Director of Regional Development and other branch staff to service unique elements connected with the branch and associated service area. (20%).This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, and the day-to-day may include other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Entry-level position.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1 -2 years experience in administrative capacity

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

Strong verbal communicator

Bilingual language skills preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Detail-oriented

Ability to demonstrate initiative and strong time-management skills and perform with little supervision

Must believe in the mission of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a diverse population required.

The Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is a comm nity-facing position, frequently interacting with donors, volunteers, and neighbors.

The Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will work with all branch team members to ensure a positive guest experience for all visitors and seamless administrative operations for staff.

Persons in this position may be subject to fluctuations in temperature due to the diverse environment.

Environment includes administrative offices, applicable branch warehouse areas.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

The warehouse can be extremely cold at times and extremely hot during the summer months, with temperatures ranging from -10 degrees Fahrenheit to 42 degrees Fahrenheit in refrigerated spaces or freezers.
