The Red Hat Experience Engineering team is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Vice Presidents of Support and User Experience Engineering. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact between executives, employees, business associates, customers, and partners. You'll manage the day-to-day office agenda including calendar management, coordinating complex travel arrangements, organizing global team on-site activities and related expense reports. As an Executive Assistant, you’ll need to be highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills to help maximize the use of the executives time and minimize interruptions. You'll also need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate passion for helping Red Hat achieve its goals.What you will do:

Provide full administrative support to the executives

Partner closely with each of the executives Chiefs of Staff to align organizational strategy with executive purpose and action

Own calendar and schedule management, anticipating needs and proactively and effectively managing the executives time accordingly while prioritizing customer and partner meetings

Ensure that requests are responded to in a timely manner and using best judgment to assist and make decisions without supervision when applicable

Screen and manage phone and email inquiries and requests in partnership with the Chiefs of Staff for each executive

Plan all internal and external meetings for the organization; manage the agenda, logistics, presentations, follow-up, and any other associated action items

Prepare and review expense reports in compliance with Red Hat’s policies

Coordinate travel arrangements, managing complex itineraries and booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, etc.

Help compose and edit presentations and documents for senior management, events, and customer meetings

Build relationships with other executive assistants worldwide, both internally and with customers and partners externally

Manage and track key projects and deadlines and monitor deliverables on behalf of the executive, e.g., yearly performance reviews, quarterly bonus allocations, all-hands calls and meetings, sales kickoffs, and partner conferences

Maintain deep knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures

Use relevant data tools to help the executive run reports, such as Tableau, JIRA, and Salesforce (SFDC)

Work cross-functionally in preparation for company meetings, organizational communications, etc.

Be proactive in anticipating the executive’s needs and solving challenges before they escalate

Effectively manage the details of highly confidential and critical company projects

Perform routine administrative and logistical duties

What you will bring:

5+ years of experience working as an executive assistant, or relevant applicable experience

Proven ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail

Solid work ethic and positive attitude; ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with solid analytical skills

Experience creating presentations and excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven experience ensuring that the executive's calendar is properly managed to maximize the effective use of their time, allocating time to critical areas as needed

Experience coordinating global calendars while working across numerous time zones

Experience monitoring and tracking impending deadlines

Proven ability to work on your own and display ingenuity in anticipating and handling situations that may arise

The salary range for this position is $32.13 - $51.42. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay TransparencyRed Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
