Description We are searching for a Desktop Support Analyst, situated in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27612, United States. This role gives you the opportunity to join our team in the telecom industry, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity. Your main function will be to provide technical support for our information technologies, maintain and enhance existing technologies, and assist in resolving technical problems and issues.Responsibilities: Assist in providing technical support by performing routine maintenance and enhancements to existing technologies. Identify technical problems and issues with assigned hardware, software, and work processes and assist in their resolution. Deliver quality and timely results while meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Comply with and support all corporate, department, and branch policies and procedures. Keep the manager, project teams, and business unit customers informed of activities and problems within your area of responsibility; refer matters beyond your authority to the manager for direction. Use your skills in Microsoft Office 365, MS Office 365, and Active Directory to perform your duties effectively. Troubleshoot various software and hardware issues, including but not limited to Windows 7 to 10 migration, Citrix applications, and VMware VM-related issues. Support remote desktop connectivity applications like WebEx, and Windows Native tools, LANDesk, Team Viewer. Provide support for laptops, desktops, and printers. Maintain a positive customer service relationship and identify and understand customer's needs. Requirements Must have proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory Solid understanding of IT support principles including software, hardware, network troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues quickly Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in user-friendly language Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ will be considered a plus Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
