CCTV Installer

Description:Seeking techs primarily in and around Raleigh to Charlotte to visit client sites to install new CCTV and access control panels. The equipment being installed is Avigilon but manager will consider candidates who have backgrounds with other equipment as well. Installing and servicing physical security systems/platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and many other low-voltage systems. Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.      Training/mentoring others within the team.  Working as a valued team member on projects/installations to deliver quality results to our customers. Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements. Working with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.  Serving as a lead tech on smaller projects/installations.  WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: Minimum 2+ years of experience with the installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems and platforms (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion / Burglar, etc.) Proficiency in all device installation, headend equipment, cabling, and ability to connect them to the network. Basic understanding of networking and programming.  Ability to oversee and train others on device installation.  Demonstrated ability to use test equipment to verify installation.  Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across various enterprise-level systems.   Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.  Strong written and oral communication skills.Skills:cable installation, 12 volt, low voltage installation, radio installation, mobile, GPS, radios, testing, troubleshooting, sirens, Mobile Computers, Installation, Install, Cable, CCTV, Low voltage, Cat6, Crimping, Access control, Wiring, Telecom, Car Stereo, Network Cabling, DAS Installation, LMR, Land Mobile RadioAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
