The opening is on 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) and pay will range from $30.00-$35.00/hr based on experience (plus $2 for 2nd shift).Qualified candidates must have a multicraft skillset that includes mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulics and pneumatics. Previous experience within plastic extrusion and/or thermoforming is preferred but not required.Job Description:
Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all equipment.
Removes any defective parts by dismantling the devices using the proper tools and inspecting the parts for wearing, replacing or reinstalling new part and test equipment for proper operation.
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
Fabricates repair parts by using maintenance shop instrumentation and equipment
Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by check stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies and informing supervisor or equipment, parts and supplies needed.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed
