Manager, Fund Accounting for North America

Job Summary:A leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance within the fund accounting department. This role manages a team of accounting professionals (Accountant 1-3, Senior Accountant, and Assistant Manager), oversees complex client relationships, and ensures delivery of high-quality accounting services. The position focuses on people management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency while maintaining overall accountability for team performance and client satisfaction.Core Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of fund accounting professionalsDrive operational performance and quality standardsBuild and manage cluster and client relationships and service deliveryOversee resource allocation and capacity planningDirect implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvementsEnsure regulatory compliance and risk managementEstablish and monitor team performance metricsChampion technology adoption and process optimizationTasks:Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussionsApprove complex financial reports and client deliverablesManage escalated client issues and relationshipsLead team meetings and performance improvement initiativesMonitor and report on key performance indicatorsOversee workload distribution and resource allocationReview and approve staff scheduling and time managementLead client onboarding and transition projectsFacilitate client review meetings and presentationsCoordinate with other departments on service deliveryMonitor compliance with policies and proceduresLead change management initiativesReview and approve team training plansOversee system implementation and optimizationConduct regular service delivery reviewsPerform other related duties as assigned for role and business needs
