This person should be able to start immediately. Warehouse associate will perform a range of functions that may include receiving, packing, and processing incoming and outgoing orders. This person will fill orders from stock, utilizing pallets to fulfill orders, packing and shipping orders, and/or managing and organizing stock in the warehouse. Knowledge of tile and construction materials would be a benefit
Responsibilities
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Arrive to work on time and be ready to work in a safe manner
Manage pick ticket orders
Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
Ensure orders are accurate
Stage items correctly for outgoing deliveries and transfers to other warehouse locations
Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
Oversee stock replenishment
Shrink wrap product to pallets
Packs warehouse orders as necessary
Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information
Ensure labels match parts that are placed on pallets
Ensure work area remains cleans by putting away empty pallets
Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
Unload freight line deliveries
Load customer vehicles with the correct orders
Have the ability to drive a forklift and use a pallet jack
Must be able to check in orders correctly and thoroughly, must report any damages to the correct department immediately
Help customers with orders, input orders into the computer / counter sales
Answer the phone and assist customers

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to normal noise levels and moving equipment. Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. The hours for this job are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. On occasion there may be some overtime required.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; to regularly lift, move, push and/or pull objects up to 75 lbs.; to regularly operate power handling equipment; occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel.
Required Education and Experience
Ability to read, write and compute simple math formulas.
High school diploma/GED is required
Preferred Education and Experience
2 – 3 years previous warehouse experience
2 years experience driving a forklift
Must be at least 25 years old
