My 93 year old mother lives with me in a home just inside the Beltline, near the Costco at Six Forks and Wake Forest Road. She has dementia and needs assistance getting up, going to the restroom, getting clean and dressed etc. She walks with a walker, though slowly. She is receiving caregiving services through a home health agency which is doing an excellent job but we need to find a less expensive option. The agency provides 10 hours of service on weekdays from 10 AM to 8 PM, and 1 person on weekends, 10 AM to 2 PM.
I am looking for someone to work shifts of 2 - 3 hours, one in the morning and one early evening. Weekends I am looking for just a morning shift.
I figure I will need at least 2 caregivers to handle the various shifts, although 1 person is fine if she can cover all the shifts.
There might be some flexibility in the timing of the shifts.
My mother is very good-natured and her current care-givers enjoy working with her.
