Job Overview:
We are seeking around 5 skilled and versatile commercial craftsmen who can do a variety of trades in the commercial construction arena. This will be a temporary 1099 contract position that will last at least through February. The ideal candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of commercial construction tasks - carpentry, painting, drywall, finishing, etc. This work will be in a federal government building job site so you will need to pass a drug screen and a background check.

Responsibilities:
1. Carpentry Work:
o Execute general carpentry work, including but not limited to framing, installing doors and windows, cabinetry, and molding.
2. Installation:
o Install drywall, flooring, and other building materials.
3. Painting:
o Must have professional painting experience with walls and trim work.
4. Finishing:
o Be able to perform precise finish carpentry and interior trim work.
5. Safety and Compliance:
o Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing all tasks.
6. Communication:
o Maintain clear communication with the construction superintendent and other team members.
7. Time Management:
o Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
o Efficiently utilize time and resources to complete projects within budget constraints.
o Complete all tasks as assigned by the superintendent.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
o Proven experience in commercial construction.
o Demonstrated skills in carpentry and other general construction trades.
2. Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of construction and building systems.
o Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
3. Problem-Solving Skills:
o Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
4. Communication Skills:
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
5. Physical Fitness:
o Capable of performing physically demanding tasks and lifting heavy objects.
6. Reliability:
o Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
7. Certifications:
o Relevant certifications in carpentry or a related field are a plus.
o OSHA 30, and CPR are required.
