Small one attorney law firm seeking a highly organized and motivated Experienced Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceptional word processing skills, multitasking ability, and a customer service-oriented mindset. Experience in accounting, probate, real estate transactions, social media marketing and estate planning is highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents with a high level of accuracy.

Handle word processing tasks, including formatting and maintaining complex legal documents.

Assist attorney with day-to-day administrative tasks, including file management, scheduling, and correspondence.

Provide excellent customer service by managing client inquiries and maintaining professional client relations.

Perform general office tasks, including answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining organized records.

Assist with billing and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Support attorney with real estate closings, estate planning document preparation, probate matters, and social media marketing (experience preferred but not required).

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive legal matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a legal assistant or similar role in a law office.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and social media marketing.

Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Customer service experience with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Background in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.

Experience in real estate transactions and estate planning is a plus.
