We’re looking for a Full Time Audio Assistant to support our Audio Directors across News, Sport, Variety, and Outside Broadcast productions.About the RoleAs an Audio Assistant, based at our 1 Denison, North Sydney office, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless sound quality for live and pre-recorded broadcasts. You’ll work closely with the Audio Director, Floor Manager, and on-air talent, handling microphones, monitoring essential equipment, and making quick adjustments as needed.Day to day you will: Assist the Audio Director in studio and outside broadcastSet up and place microphones/IFBs on presenters and guestsAttend production meetings and review rundowns.Respond swiftly to instructionsCheck and report any audio equipment issuesWork collaboratively with technical teams and on-air Presenters
