SY 25-26 Reading Interventionist

Role ExpectationsThe Reading Interventionist is a unique opportunity to engage readers needing extra support in 1-on-1 and small group settings and support the instruction and development of this foundational skill. The hours for this position are as follows:9:00am to 2:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday8:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday8:30am to 2:00pm on FridayResponsibilities and Duties:Use reading data to plan lessons for 1-on-1 and small group instructionRecord lesson plans in our school-wide small group tracking systemRegularly assess effectiveness of lessons by giving short assessmentsTrack and progress monitor scholar achievementCollaborate with teachers to ensure instruction meets the needs of each scholarActively participate in CCA’s instructional coaching program (coach and be coached).The Reading Interventionist will perform other duties as required to achieve the school’s mission.
