- Designs, builds, and maintains high performance, reusable, and reliable installation and maintenance scripts and processes.
- Provides installation and setup support to Customers.
- Develops necessary integrations (mainly in Python) for ingesting customer data into client analysis engine.
- Works closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve support issues.
- Works closely with Software Engineers to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the technology.
- Provides on-call support (as needed).
- Works with Software Engineers to identify the root cause of bugs/issues and resolves them quickly.
- Stays up-to-date with upcoming changes to current technologies and industry trends.
- Participates in a variety of planning and development activities.
- Actively works to increase technical skill level.
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable field OR in lieu of degree, 3+ years of professional technical support/infrastructure engineering experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional technical support experience.
- Experience with/ deep understanding of the following patterns, technologies, and concepts:
- Automation (Platform setup, build, deploy, etc)
- Linux administration- Centos/Red H at etc
- Bash scripting
- Ansible
- Python programming
- Other technologies and concepts that are nice to have:
- Containerization and Container orchestration
- Kafka
- Cassandra
- Redis
- RabbitMq
- Assorted logging and metric collection tools(logstash, Prometheus, etc)
- Experience with git (Github, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Jira or similar
- Passion for speed and optimization within the development process
