Scope of Position:Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while complying with internal and external requirements and providing exceptional customer service.Major Duties and Responsibilities may include the following:Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customersAdherence to Operational Process StandardsDaily tracking of shipments and corresponding documentsWork with the team to provide solutions to customersComply with customer requirements and proceduresProactively communicate timely status updates to customersCommunicate with international and domestic customers and officesUpdate shipment information in the Expeditors systemTrack and trace international cargoTimely settlement of shipments and filing of TariffsPreparation of reports, as requiredPrepare and process international documentationComply with US and foreign regulationsInterns will learn:About the logistics industry, Expeditors and our cultureAbout our systemsAbout professional, pro-active, high expectation customer service
