The primary responsibilities for the position is to drive daily adherence to the Quality Management System and Operation Excellence subject matter expert. This position supports Lenovo Worldwide team.Responsibilities:

Drives quality improvement efforts to enforce an effective Quality Management System (QMS).

Team lead for 7-8 Quality Engineers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and specifications for new products/services.

Uses Operation Excellence methodology to improve processes and reduce field defects.

Report KPI Metrics and perform Data analysis to drive continuous product improvement.

Customer advocate in Product Ship Support and Daily Quality roll call discussion.

Work with Supplier Quality Engineer on Commodity Quality and Supplier FA activities.

Verify commodity categorization, structure and accuracy of Storage data in analytics tool.

Responsible for technical quality assurance process and reviews during product design and development activities.

Foster a culture of quality excellence within the organization through training, mentoring, and continuous improvement efforts.

Coordinate and facilitate lesson learned review (FuPan).

Able to work with virtual team and management.

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial, Quality, Mechanical engineering or related field

10+ years of working experience in related field

Preferred Requirements:

Experience working as Quality Engineer, Mechanical Engineer on MFG, Service, Development HW

Server HW/Service experience/knowledge

Direct experience in engineering support

Problem Solving skills, Six Sigma or CQE preferred (ASQ or equivalent)

Computer Skills, Excel, Minitab, Qlik sense, SQL, Oracle Hyperion
