Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the Construction/Contractor industry, based in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing optimal inventory levels, working with various teams to ensure timely delivery and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage optimal inventory levels for the assigned categories Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of inventory Maintain communication with the customer care team regarding expected delivery dates Participate in physical inventories and assist in the review of inventory values Maintain purchase order schedules and update them regularly Enter import purchase order into ERP for buyers and adjust quantities as needed Work with management to develop inventory related goals Forecast and report inventory value levels Create and improve inventory reports Use problem-solving techniques to manage and troubleshoot operations effectively Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and openness to new opportunities Perform assigned special projects as needed. Requirements Must have experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions Proficiency in IBM AS/400 is required Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites are necessary Experience with 'About Time' software is a plus Must be capable of handling cash activities and managing cash handling procedures Excellent customer service skills are essential Data entry skills are necessary for maintaining inventory records Experience in shipping and receiving in a construction or contractor environment is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail and accuracy in all work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to adapt to new software and technology.
