1 yr plus contract possible right to hire for an IT Help desk specialist – providing IT support for Hardware, Software, Networks, Linux Servers, hardware and mobile devices.All work is being done REMOTELY for now and will be for the next several months (thru end of 2020). After Covid, it may be onsite in Mooresville NC or Winston-Salam, NC. Candidates need to have High speed internet. Candidates must have 2-4 years IT help desk experience. AAS Degree or A+, Net + certification.

Hours the help desk covers: 6am-10pm - after training candidates assigned a 4, 10 hour shift to include one weekend day (ex. Sun-Wed or similar shift).There will be 2-3 weeks of training during- normal working hours.Duties include: Provide routine help desk – technical phone support for hardware and software issues. Windows operating systems, PC Connectivity issues, Cisco routers and switches – configuration and troubleshooting – executing command prompts ,Linux/Unix and server support. (Command line)Shell and SQL scripting – executing scripts, error monitoring, configuration and support.
