- Reformats, creates, and builds prototypes for the development of new products. Assists in the design of experiments by monitoring process conditions and recommending process changes and/or additions.
- Experiments with various statistical and/or test methods to determine the optimum test procedures, formulas, and/or approaches.
- Develops and modifies existing test methods and/or equipment as needed.
- Obtains and produces lab samples needed for testing. Interprets, evaluates, and communicates project status and test results to customers through appropriate documentation such as the technical notebook.
- Prepares and maintains laboratory records (data sheets, graphs, charts, files, etc.) on an up-to-date basis.
- Seeking 5 years of experience (combined within education and post graduate experience). Open to candidates with 18 months of professional (post grad) experience
- Associates degree is preferred (mechanical ideally, electrical). Otherwise, test lab experience (1-3 years+)preferred: Minitab (data), take observations, record, etc. MS Excel
