Process Plant Specialist- Equipment Trainer

Responsibilities:Lead the two-week onboarding process for new employees, focusing on plant layout, circuit overviews, equipment location, and operator responsibilities.Provide task training for all process plant equipment, including initial and refresher training.Manage equipment training records, both on paper and in the INX system.Support the Permit to Work Officer in maintaining safety systems and procedures.Implement and manage the plant cyanide code, including audit preparation.Manage gas detection equipment (portable and fixed monitors).Update and manage personnel training records in INX.Act as a representative when dealing with contractors and coordinate consultants as needed.Lead ICAM investigations for the processing department.Assist in organizing and assessing the annual process risk assessment for the plant.Identify areas for plant improvement and lead training presentations as required.Attend trainings/development programs and perform other duties as assigned by the company.
