This position will Demonstrate a strong understanding of domestic cooking appliances. Execute testing of products with specific food and recipes and report findings to help optimize performance as part of the NPD process. Support Quality Team on product improvements where required. Require the ability to work effectively with other disciplines including Validation and Test Engineers.Responsibilities: Evaluate the performance of our kitchen appliances following guidelines with food. Follows standardized test procedures using food types in different categories of appliances. Able to conducts basic comparative analyses of our appliances against competitors’ offerings regarding basic food outputs. Able to support where needed with inputs to recipe creation in support of marketing functions. Ability to develop basic food recipes if requested in support of Marketing. Able to experiment with different ingredients, cooking techniques, and time-temperature profiles and make recommendations to optimize appliance performance. Able to understand the principles of consumer feedback and results of field trials. Makes recommendations to wider team to support best use and practice for consumers via Instruction Book information. Communicates test recipes and findings via a pre-determined formal report format. Able to analyze test data of food results and temperature to highlight performance issues. Comfortable working in cross-functional teams. Able to accurately communicate work summary and manage workload. Able to understand the organizational structure of R&D functions and interconnected cross functional departments. Able to communicate outside of direct reporting requirements where required. Qualifications.Qualifications: Home Economics/ Culinary qualification 4+ years Home Economics/ Culinary Experience Understands the usage of domestic kitchen appliances. Demonstrates knowledge of different food types and cooking methods Demonstrates organizational skills to manage test requests. Ability to work with some direction/ support. Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Good communication skills
