Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Purchaser to join our team in Huntersville, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing purchasing and procurement processes, developing strategic relationships with suppliers, and managing procurement risks. This role operates within the industry of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and requires skills such as communication and proficiency in SAP.Responsibilities: Manage and optimize the purchasing and procurement processes for the region. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to optimize procurement costs. Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM), R& D, and Operations to ensure alignment with global purchasing standards. Manage procurement risks associated with materials and suppliers. Lead and participate in multiple complex and strategic sourcing initiatives across relevant purchase categories. Develop market expertise in assigned spend categories, staying current on supply market trends, business economics, and sourcing best practices. Oversee the supplier selection process, including new supplier development and capacity checks. Implement and continuously improve purchasing processes and KPIs. Manage purchasing-related projects and control the performance of purchasing processes through KPIs. Ensure compliance with negotiated supplier terms and group policies. Requirements Requirements:

Proven experience in purchasing and procurement management.

Strong negotiation, supplier development, and strategic sourcing skills.

Proficiency in SAP MM and other procurement software.

Experience in developing and managing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Risk management and contract management experience.

Ability to lead projects, manage personnel, and drive process improvements.
