This position will manage, under supervision, a cross-functional development team in order to develop and launch innovative product solutions that meet cost, schedule and scope requirements.Job Responsibilities Monitors project profit and loss (P&L) and key drivers that affect overall program financial health to ensure projects meet established objectives (e.g. margins, costs, revenue, etc.). Understands what program success is and drives path forward to achieve success in most timely and cost effective manner. Applies technical knowledge and understanding to apply to day-to-day decision making. Demonstrates high-level understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies used to produce a product. Follows best practices to attain project scope excellence to cross-functional team – clarity of vision, goals, and expectations. Develops and maintains timing and action plan for projects of moderate scope with guidance from senior Program Managers (PMs). Coordinates necessary data acquisition to provide strategic direction for solving problems. Uses a systematic approach to identify problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement solutions. Prepares project status and risks to manager to provide proper level of detail and recover plans. Challenges and provides constructive mitigation strategies. Supports cadence and techniques to run efficient meetings. Participates on cross-functional teams to work seamlessly across boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successful project execution. Partners with development and delivery organizations to participate in consensus on new product development (NPD), productivity, and product maintenance. Incorporates consumer and market insights to act as a driver of innovation and project execution. Demonstrates basic knowledge of tools and techniques in the fields of program and project management to effectively organize and lead project teams to deliver project objectives within the constraints of time, cost, and quality. Adheres to new product development processes to improve performance and reduces your risk of failure. Follows standardized guidelines and templates to ensure robust project plans and maintains documentation as required by the stage-gate development process. Collaborates with team members to identify project risks and recommend potential mitigation plans. Supports or leads project under supervision, whose level of innovation and technology is existing or proven and contains higher risk, complexity and capital spend. Builds extensive cross-functional knowledge of business operations to effectively manage risks, coordinate project activities and make appropriate decisions. Collaborates with cross functional team to develop timing and action plan for projects. Coordinates with senior program managers to ensure dependencies and critical paths are identified and communicated. Supports or leads project under supervision, whose level of innovation and technology is existing or proven and contains higher risk, complexity and capital spend. Builds extensive cross-functional knowledge of business operations to effectively manage risks, coordinate project activities and make appropriate decisions. Collaborates with cross functional team to develop timing and action plan for projects.
