Our talented team of Network and Cybersecurity professionals helps design, develop, procure, implement, operate/sustain, and enhance DoD networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.Duties and Responsibilities:Your focus will be Data Network Engineering focused on the design, installation, testing, and turn-up of Top Layer Architecture Security Stack in compliance with Defense Information Systems Network – Enterprise Network standards and specifications. This position will require 50% travel.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and management systems

Understand and implement disaster recovery procedures

Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs

Knowledge of cybersecurity hardening practices for major network platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, etc.)

Familiarity with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s (DCSA) Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM)

Experience monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing network performance while maintaining IA compliance

Engineer highly available and fault-tolerant solutions.

Conduct systems pre-test and acceptance tests to validate the designed performance criteria

Structure mock designs based upon RFP specifications in support of the Bids & Proposal teams

Develop and perform technical presentations for customers

Serve as technical resource at customer briefings

Mentor junior engineers and technicians

Serve as technical lead on projects

Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary

Understand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policies

Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures

Perform other duties as required

If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position

Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods

Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures

Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies-standards, and procedures

Experience with managing, deploying, and configuring TLA network/system components such as Cisco Firepower Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Content Analysis Systems (CAS), Forward/Reverse Proxy, Malware Analysis Appliances, Network Probe Packet Analyzer, Vulnerability Scanner – Assure Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Visibility Appliance, and Network Taps.

Proficient in Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint

Systems integration and lab experience are desired

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

More About the RoleThe successful candidate will be primarily responsible for engineering, securing, documenting, and deploying secure enterprise networks. Candidate must have strong experience with engineering and troubleshooting networking issues, application of security controls (STIGs, IAVAs), and maintenance of network hardware. The candidate will have a firm understanding of network high availability with the ability to design resilient solutions. Candidate must possess developed written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with colleagues, drive innovation, and communicate with fellow team members, colleagues, management, and customer leadership.You’ll Bring These Qualifications

Must possess or quickly obtain (within 3 months of hire) industry certifications for security (Security+, CISSP, etc.) and a network or server certification (CCNA/CCNP, VCTA, Microsoft, etc.) to be 8570 IAT Level II compliant.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field and 7-10 years of experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining data network solutions

Secret (or higher) DoD security clearance

Ability to travel 50% to customer locations

Survey, Design and Systems integration and testing experience of data networks

Experience with data network switching and routing

Demonstrated ability to organize and develop site survey reports and design packages to include experience with Visio.

Flexible, decisive & proactive problem solver in a fast-paced environment. Internal and external customer interface experience

Demonstrated Leadership skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

Experience working with DoD data networks

Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network solutions

Experience with VMware and/or Red Hat Linux

Experience with DoD network cyber security and DISA STIG requirements

Desired Certifications: CISSP, CASP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, ACNT, JNCP

Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD

CCNP or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
