This is an opportunity to work with one of Beacon Hill's Fortune 500 clients! We are looking for someone eager to sharpen their skillset and has ideally worked in a warehouse/distribution center environment. Please see below for the details on this Desktop Support role:

Title: IT Desktop Support Technician

Location: 531 Northridge Park Drive Rural Hall, NC

Duration: 6 Months (Potential to extend or convert)

Day to day activities: Provides support for all desktop users, including problem assessment and resolution. Ensures deployment of PCs (adds, moves, changes). Works effectively with PC imaging software such as SCCM. Ensures deployment, management, and support of PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices. Maintains working knowledge of remote connectivity software. Analyze, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of PC problems related to hardware and software. Assists with hardware/software installations. Participates in the planning and execution of the migration to new software and hardware, such as new operating systems and upgraded equipment. Writes effective technical documentation for end users, as well as for team members. Keeps management informed of unresolved issues or problems that may need special handling. Provides primary support for applications, and understands escalation procedures.
