We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsRole Summary: Performs various functions relative to the Laboratory testing, to include but not limited to: providing oversight to clinical laboratory assistants; clerical and computer functions; specimen accessioning and processing, performing a variety of phlebotomy techniques and assisting with other specimen collections and performing specified waived testing as required. Demonstrates competency through certification plus years of experience. Represents the organization in the inpatient or outpatient setting serving as the liaison between the client (Patient, physicians, nursing, etc.) and the laboratory departments.What qualifications you will need:
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education: Associates Degree
Required License: ASPT or ASCP certification
Preferred License: MLA Certification
Required Experience: 3 years’ experience in a Health care setting as Laboratory assistant, Phlebotomist.
Preferred Experience: 3 years’ experience in a Health care setting as Laboratory assistant, Phlebotomist in a lead position.
