What the Ideal Candidate will do:
Job Duties:
-Perform tooling repairs, upgrade, and recommend corrective actions.
-Inspect, release, and calibrate tools for quality assurance.
-Communicate with team members to ensure effective service and provide technical support to customers.
-Troubleshoot, analyze performance issues.
-Recommend design or process improvements to address recurring technical issues.
-Support other departments as needed.
Requirements:
-High school diploma (or equivalent); vocational/technical school training preferred.
-Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in automotive or machine tool repair (i.e. CNC machines); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Must be able to read and understand mechanical blueprints and/or drawings.
-Must have experience with power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring tools such as dial indicator, depth gauge, calipers, and torque wrench.
-Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills.
-Travel up to 10% of the time, sometimes internationally.
