Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.
Essential Functions
Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
Assistance with motors, pumps, conveyor belts, sterilizers, pneumatic tubing, HVAC, refrigeration equipment and medical gas delivery systems as assigned. Gives assistance with vendors as needed.
Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
Adherence to all core measure initiatives, patient safety goals, and NQF Safe Practices.

High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum Work Experience
Specialized training, good mechanical skills required
2-4 years related experience required.
Good verbal and written skills preferred.
