This includes clerical duties of maintaining patient files, managing patient & provider scheduling, providing customer service via telephone, email, & in person, & communicating pertinent information with Rehab clinical staff. Coordinating with other departments including Registration & Billing to ensure timely pre-registration, provision of benefits, & billing for patients will also be included in this position’s scope.Reports to:Director of Rehab & Cardiac RehabResponsibilities of the PositionFront office duties including but not limited to providing professional face-to-face patient interactions, telephone etiquette, scheduling/rescheduling evaluations & treatments, & patient/visitor education. Ordering office supplies.Coordinate patient pre-registration, create patient files, check in & educate patients on expectations of program attendance, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.Manage provider schedules. Coordinate daily workflow activities.Maintain confidentiality of department information and patient data.
