Qualifications and requirementsApplicants must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:
Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant license with the North Carolina Board of Nurses or Compact.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
One year of experience is preferred
Department/Unit SummaryThe Med surg is an adult unit that treats patients with strokes, post-op surgery recovery, heart failure, COVID-19, accidents, trauma, and Pneumonia. This unit is on campus and has 12-hour shifts with no call requirements.
