Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Buyer. This Buyer will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. If you are an experience buying with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you.Major responsibilities
Write orders to refill stock as appropriate from monitoring inventory
Ensure that goods are delivered on time by working with warehouse and delivery teams
Research and analyze potential services, vendors, and products, with the goal of getting the best price and quality
Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
Keep records of purchased products up to date
Participate in meetings with staff and other stakeholders
Create reports on purchases and perform cost analyses
Look over products upon delivery and report any issues timely
Network with vendors and view new products at events, shows, and exhibitions
Requirements - Skilled in communication and negotiation
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
