Description of WorkInterns work with engineering staff members to:

Field Inspect Traffic Control against approved plans

Data entry and modeling of pavement conditions

ADA Ramp measurement and documentation

Assist signal techs set up and take down of traffic control and assist with repairs

Tasks include field work, updating and maintaining files, processing data and other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / CompetenciesEligibility Requirements

Must be a currently enrolled student in a bachelor's, master's, or professional level program at an accredited North Carolina Historically Black College/University (HBCU) or Minority Serving Institution (MSI)

Minimum overall GPA of 2.8 (on 4.0 scale)

Must demonstrate GPA by attaching a transcript (official or unofficial)
