Genuine Car Care Center is looking to hire a General Service to join our team at our auto repair shop in Kernersville, NC! For almost 20 years, we have proudly served our community with high-quality servicing and a “New Car Dealer” experience without the hassles!
We are looking for an individual who has a background in automotive repair, including tire repair, however, we are willing to train the right candidate based on experience. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of automotive repair experience or automotive technical schooling.

General Automotive Service Job Responsibilities:
· Visually inspect and document the condition of vehicle based on customers’ requests or concerns
· Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific issues impacting vehicles
· Perform routine maintenance services on vehicles including lube, tire and other general services
· Document all services and repairs performed to provide to service advisors and/or customers
· Identify any additional recommendations for services and communicate with management
· Communicate with service advisors or other service staff if additional services are required and ensure information is documented and provided to customer
· Pick up and deliver parts and vehicles for servicing and returning to customers
· Assist with work within our car wash on weekend
· Maintain a clean and safe service department - clean up following shifts
General Automotive Service Job Requirements:
· Looking for 1-2+ years experience as an Automotive Service Technician or in a related mechanic role (Lube Mechanic, General Service, Express Tech, Automotive apprentice etc.) - compensation is based on level of experience
· State inspector license required
· Motivated to succeed and driven to learn and grow professionally
· Attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Professional demeanor and effective communication skills with customers
· Valid Driver’s License
