E & W Electrical, LLC, a family-owned company in business since 1984 focusing on complete generator solutions for residential and commercial customers. E&W offers all aspects of generator services, including sales, design and load analysis, installations, energy and fuel source management, repairs, effective preventive maintenance plans and remote monitoring. The electrician’s goal is to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents as well as failure for the power systems.
Responsibilities
-Wiring in residential and/or commercial structure, mainly for generators, surge, and or battery storage components including the required wiring and overcurrent protection.
- Electrical service work including outlet and feeder installations or trouble shooting.
- Plans new or modified installations consistent with specifications and electrical codes.
- Installation of outlets for electric cars.
- Administrative job requirements: maintain and clean equipment, report faulty equipment or hazards to manager, study and review all relevant product repair updates, and accuracy and thoroughness in diagnostic skills, data collection and data recording.
Requirements
- Experienced electrician with a minimum of 2 years residential experience, with a total of 4 years combined residential and/or commercial wiring.
- Experience in branch circuit wiring, panel, and electrical component installations, wiring installation including termination and circuitry connections.
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record.
- Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools. Employee provides own hand tools.
- Good understanding of electrical theory and electrical codes as it relates to circuity, bonding, grounding, and over current protection.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Business mindset, problem solver.
- High School Diploma and technical school preferred.
- Excellent physical condition to perform job responsibilities.
