We're seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist that would like to work in an established and growing company.
The ideal candidate would coordinate and handle incoming and outgoing deliveries. From packing the goods to be shipped, develop mailing labels and shipping documents and ensure that all orders have been filled correctly. They would also make deliveries to local customers.
Responsibilities
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Receiving and stocking.
Pulling, packing, and loading.
Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Maintains a clean and neat area.
Qualifications
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
Able to work independently and within a team.
