Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the accounting industry, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. We are seeking a Staff Accountant who will be tasked with vital functions within our team, including managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger duties. Responsibilities: Handling the company's accounts payable, ensuring all expenses are paid in an accurate and timely manner. Overseeing the accounts receivable process, including the preparation and issuance of invoices and collection of payments. Conducting regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Managing the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Assisting with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Utilizing various accounting software tools, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP, to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger operations Ability to create and manage Journal Entries Experience in executing Month End Close procedures Proficient in using NetSuite for accounting functions Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data Experience in using QuickBooks for bookkeeping and accounting tasks Knowledge of SAP for managing business operations and customer relations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
