Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role is within the Healthcare/NHS industry and involves handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and processing customer applications. Responsibilities: Conduct site location cash audits as part of daily and monthly accounting activities. Handle bank account and credit card transaction reconciliation. Process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Assist with the maintenance of general ledger accounts. Perform analysis as required to support financial decisions. Assist with the provision of information to external auditors. Contribute to the process of year-end reporting. Utilize Microsoft Excel functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and formulas for various tasks. Support the purchasing process as needed. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role within the Healthcare/NHS industry Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential Demonstrable expertise in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and analysis A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Must be a team player with a proactive attitude Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
