Job Description:The Greensboro, NC office is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join our growing practice. We are looking for a motivated candidate with attention to detail, a passion to continue to develop as a professional, and a desire to be part of a strong team. Perform stability analyses, reinforced concrete design, and steel design for water and earth retaining structures associated with dams, spillways, buildings, and other hydraulic structures

Prepare design drawings, reports, and technical specifications

Perform inspections of dams and hydraulic structures

Provide periodic construction observation and consultation

Required Skills/Experience:

Strong work ethic and desire to perform professionally at a high level

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

Experience with computer-aided structural analysis

Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel

Ability to lift 60 pounds and be physically able to negotiate construction sites, enter trenches, climb ladders and work outside in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant work experience of up to 3 years in structural engineering

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and Bluebeam

Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check

Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
