This is a business critical role that supports Life & Specialty Services Business Controls Reporting. Responsible for developing control reporting utilizing multiple database platforms. Must have the ability to understand and manage data relationships across different systems. This role requires the ability to develop and own end to end processes, maintain existing code, analyze report requirements, and develop based on reporting needs using Tableau, Micro Strategy, and/or other technology recommended BI Tools. Knowledge of Life and Specialty Servicing businesses including SCRA, BK, Credit Reporting, LOCRO, CAML, Deceased, Consumer Mortgage Tax, Escheatment, Corporate Accounts Payable, or Procedure Management is a benefit. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and work across multiple teams to support various initiatives.

Required Skills:

Experience with systems functional analysis, technology business analysis, and basic understanding of the different technical platforms, databases, and related technologies• Proficiency with both SAS/SQL (ex. SAS EG, SAS Grid, SQL Server) and proven experience with complex JOIN criteria• Scripting and automation experience: SAS, SSIS, TOAD, Excel• Experience with Enterprise Databases (The W), Teradata, and the Strategic Data Platform (SDP)• Ability to translate high level business requirements into technical data requirements• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentations)

Desired Skills:

High aptitude for self-motivation and self-determined project work• Data Mining Experience using SQL/SAS querying• Tableau, Micro Strategy• Consumer Operations Data Mart (CODM) experience• HADOOP experience• Professional experience as a data scientist / analyst / statistician is a plus, but not a requirement• Experience with HIVE and/or Impala Driver Tools• MSP experience• Life & Specialty Servicing business acumen/knowledge

Enterprise Job Description:

Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years' experience preferred
