Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks to support the accounting and finance departments. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Perform administrative duties as necessary
Work with incoming and outgoing funds to reconcile financial books
Own the bookkeeping processes of the company
Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
Perform day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
Engage with clients as necessary via email and phone Requirements - Bookkeeping experience required
High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
