Description We are in search of a RF Systems Engineer to work in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of public safety radio systems and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of public safety communication solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance our standing in the industry.Responsibilities: Provide field support for large complex public safety communications systems and possibly travel to other areas as needed. Lead and mentor a team of technicians, assisting in talent development. Collaborate with management and customers to identify, present, and implement enhancement opportunities. Develop needs assessments for State and Local Government Agencies and assist the team during sales presentations. Generate and present project schedules and goals, ensuring adherence to timelines. Participate in or lead discussions with customers, consultants, vendors, and other personnel. Use your skills in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, Microsoft, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Radio Frequency to perform tasks efficiently.Requirements
Candidates MUST have either three years’ experience with P25 Simulcast systems or Multisite Trunking experience
And three years knowledge of one a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems (e.g. L3Harris, Motorola, Kenwood, Tait, EF Johnson, Zetron)
Two years of experience in maintaining large public safety radio networks.
Because this role will interact with customers, they must have strong communication skills.
