Paralegal

Description We are seeking a Paralegal for our legal team based in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This role will involve conducting extensive legal research and assisting in the preparation and management of cases. Responsibilities: Conduct extensive legal research to support the preparation and management of cases. Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence. Collaborate with the legal team to prepare for court proceedings. Maintain and manage legal documentation and case files. Liaise with clients to gather and verify information. Ensure all legal documents and data are updated and organized. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings. Support the legal team in meeting deadlines. Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner. Assist in the development of legal arguments and motions.Requirements Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Law or related field Proficiency in conducting extensive legal research Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is highly desirable Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software Knowledge of legal terminologies and principles Familiarity with court procedures and protocols is a plus Must adhere to professional ethics and demonstrate integrity Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
