Our work depends on Applications Systems Analyst - Senior joining our team to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM).HOW AN APPLICATIONS SYSTEMS ANALYST - SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides daily supervision and direction to staff who are responsible for phone and in-person support to users in the areas of E-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and other network services.

Manages personnel who serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software PC and printer problems.

Support the review and analysis of any new requests for system services in order to provide scope and level of effort information to project managers.

Provide consistent, thorough documentation of Application Systems

Compile reports of outages, trends and analysis of pertinent information of IT Systems

Monitor and report alarmsability to triage calls and resolve

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network troubleshooting and support

Support the review and analysis of any new requests for SharePoint services in order to provide scope and level of effort information to project managers.

Provide guidance to customer during all phases of projects related to SharePoint development and maintenance.

Provide consistent, thorough documentation of SharePoint

Performs administration duties for networking hardware including routers, switches, hubs, gateways, access points, network interface cards, networking cables, firewalls and other related network hardware

Must have firm grasp and knowledge of fiber and copper-based Ethernet technologies, capabilities and cabling and their connectivity to local and wide area networks

Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques

Installs and configures network hardware and software

Provides network troubleshooting and support

Provides technical support and training to end-usersSets up new users and deletes old users from the network

Troubleshoots and resolves issues with network infrastructure and/or components

Compile reports of outages, trends and analysis of pertinent information of IT Systems

Monitor and report alarms ability to triage calls and resolve

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network troubleshooting and support

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:  Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience

Preferred Skillset:

Strong SharePoint knowledge in navigating the application and being able to help a user navigate the application (a SharePoint super user).

Ability to perform a variety of analytical tasks, which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment to provide mission support

Able to troubleshoot and provide technical support and solutions to users

Provide guidance to users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches

Able to communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

Clearance Level: TS/SCI; Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract

Required Certification(s):

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract

IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent

Position may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activity

Travel may be required to support the mission
