DESCRIPTIONJob Summary:The Production Team Manager drives continuous improvement through established processes, championing site goals and objectives in safety, production, quality, and delivery. This role ensures compliance with QS standards and serves as a coach and mentor, developing Team Leaders into efficient and effective goal-oriented leaders. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Oracle or comparable manufacturing systems, is required. A Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials management, system inventory, project management, and cross-functional leadership, as well as forklift operation.In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
Manage the daily activities of multiple production teams.
Ensure team members adhere to housekeeping standards.
Meet and exceed production targets.
Work cross-functionally to recommend and engage in safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency improvements.
Provide guidance and feedback to team members to accomplish tasks and goals.
Set expectations and clarify responsibilities for team members.
Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Identify training needs and develop and implement training plans.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level of supervisory experience required.
