Job Description:Job Description :Heavy Industrial Equipment Mechanic: (1) Requires a minimum of 10 years heavy equipment, diesel (compression) and systems experience at Sr Tech level or above; heavy equipment operator experience and/or CDL A license with multiple axle/lowboy/detachable experience is a plus. Must possess valid/clear Driver's License and pass 3-year MVR check.(2) Perform up to complex/master level services and preventive maintenance on internal combustion engines, cleanup and disassembly of heavy equipment, service and maintenance of hydraulic systems, transmissions, drive trains, clutches, and fluid drives; cooling systems, mechanical and power steering systems, electrical devices and systems on heavy equipment, compressors, compactors, power trowels, vibrators, dump trucks, graders, crawlers, scrapers, rollers, revolving shovels, loaders, dozers, trenchers, wheel tractors and mobile work platforms. (3) Perform inspection on all cable-operated lifting rigs and all scheduled inspections. (4) All other duties as assigned. (5) Performing basic to complex repairs on all types of construction equipment including trucks, truck tractors, trailers.
