Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced GPS Dozer/loader Operators for a project in Fort Liberty, NC.
PAY: $25- $28/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: 40 hours/ week
PERDIEM: Available with housing
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00am – 3:30 pm

GPS Dozer Operator Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled GPS Dozer Operator who also has experience operating a loader and performing asphalt work on an airfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including a GPS-equipped dozer, loader, and performing asphalt work on an airfield construction site. Must be willing to travel.
GPS Dozer Operator Key Responsibilities:
GPS Dozer Operation: Operate a GPS-equipped dozer to grade and level the airfield as per specifications.
Ensure all grading work is completed with accuracy and meets project plans.
Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
Loader Operation: Safely operate a loader for material handling, earth moving, and other construction tasks.
Load, unload, and transport materials as directed.
Maintain proper safety procedures while handling equipment and materials.
Asphalt Work: Perform asphalt work, including paving, milling, and other tasks as necessary for airfield construction.
Ensure the asphalt work meets quality standards and complies with all safety regulations.
Airfield Construction: Work on airfield-specific construction tasks, ensuring compliance with military and FAA regulations.
Maintain awareness of airfield hazards and ensure safety at all times.
Security and Compliance: Obtain and maintain a valid security badge for base access.
Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure safety and productivity on the job site.
Qualifications for GPS Dozer:
Proven experience operating a GPS-equipped dozer, loader, and performing asphalt work.
Prior experience working on an airfield or in a construction environment is highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license and appropriate certifications for operating heavy equipment.
Ability to obtain a badge for military base access.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required.
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in all tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional Requirements for GPS Dozer:
Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including exposure to extreme weather, dust, and heavy machinery.
Possess own PPE: Hard hat, hearing and eye protection, Hi-visibility clothing required.
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Must be able to pass a background check.
