Southern Oaks Animal Hospital a fast-growing, mixed animal practice. We are a full-service, multi-doctor hospital with a 30+ year history dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to companion animals and horses.
This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian technician or assistant that is comfortable with horses. Responsibilities include but are not limited to professional and effective communication, patient monitoring, administering medications, venipuncture, sample submission, assisted reproduction, medical documentation, cleaning stall and feeding. This candidate must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and efficiently perform duties individually or as a team, and requires weekends shifts to include holidays. Experienced technicians or assistants, new graduates, and anyone with equine experience and is willing to learn are encouraged to apply!
