Position SummaryWhat you'll doProvides Member/Guest Service by acknowledging the Member/Guest, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, promoting products and services, and appropriately representing and supporting the Company's mission.Receives and stocks merchandise and maintains Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures by: setting up, cleaning, arranging and organizing product displays and merchandise; removing damaged goods; properly handling claims, returns, and signing; pricing merchandise appropriately; completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise; zoning the area; and identifying shrink and damages.Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift driving and spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.Operates and maintains hardware such as cash registers and related equipment, processes Member/Guest purchases and refunds, and assists in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different Membership and payment types and by stocking register supplies and box bins, following Company policies and procedures for identifying concealed merchandise, and making an effort to meet front-end performance goals.Maintains availability of and organizes carts/flatbeds, assists Members/Guests with transporting items, properly and safely utilizes cart retrieval equipment, and maintains parking lot cleanliness.Follows Company policies, and local, state, and federal laws for Liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying Member/Guest identification, and completing and maintaining paperwork, forms, and required documentation.Maintains entrance and exit areas of the Facility by greeting Members/Guests, assisting with carts, flatbeds, and wheelchairs, reviewing receipts, completing logs, and identifying shrink.Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) in accordance with Company procedures, guidelines, and methods and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.Fulfills Member Fax/Click 'n Pull orders by reviewing orders; locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise; insuring the accuracy of orders prior to shipping; shipping and tracking packages; and following up on out-of-stock merchandise to meet Member needs.At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet!-Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage-Financial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurance-Paid time off benefits include PTO, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.
