Type: Permanent  Business Unit: P&S – Vegetable Seed Enhancement TechnologyLocation: NL-Enkhuizen The Vegetable Seed Enhancement Team (VSET) is closely connected to the vegetable seed processing plants and services all Syngenta vegetable sites globally. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Scientist to join us and be a member of a multidisciplinary team embedded with a variety of stakeholders to support the global vegetable seeds business. You will lead well-defined projects to improve the process and the performance of vegetable seeds with a focus on developing new seed treatments, while being closely connected to seed processing plants to transfer new technologies to seed processing sites. Key responsibilities include:Establishing a strong knowledge of seed physiology and seed business.Leading projects independently with varieties of stakeholders.Designing and executing experiments.Making data-based decisions timely and according to project timelines.Actively taking part in the technology transfer and implementation process in the processing plants.
